About Me.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, I grew up in her west suburbs surrounded by a variety of cultures and diversity. In my earliest days, art found me.
I established the Kyrie Gallery in 2004 to showcase my work and create a place for art in my rural area of Pennsylvania, home since 1991. The Kyrie Gallery motto is "Art for Life" and my goal has been to produce work that touches lives and makes connections. This is my passion and great joy - who I believe I was designed to be. Experience
I have been creating and selling art for the past 35 years. Through those years, I had the benefit of many wonderful art friends and colleagues who shared concepts, ideas and techniques along the way and I have grown as an artist through each one. Skilled work

Currently my work is exhibited at the Latrobe Art Center in Latrobe, PA and at The Artist's Hand in Indiana, PA. Two of my paintings - "Looking into the Future" and "Sharing Pears" - were purchased by the Greater Latrobe Area School District and are on display at the elementary schools there. My work is also at a number of local establishments in West Central PA including Mahaffey's own Starlite Restaurant and Lounge. I had the great honor of creating the "Sergeant Major Phil" to honor all veterans in Punxsutawney, PA. A public mural painted in 2013 can be viewed in Punxsutawney, PA as well as one painted in 2023 in Mahaffey, PA to honor Korean War veteran and medal of honor recipient Melvin L. Brown. |
